Devo for 04/06/2025 service- Message by Pastor Clint Sprague

Pastor Clint brought the 5th message of our “Seeds” series last weekend.  As he walked us through the message, he challenged us with some questions.  I felt we should take this week and focus on the first question presented:

What is the condition of my heart?

Pastor Clint asked this question in the context of the parable of the sower, asking what type of soil is in my heart?  Is it “good” soil?  (In the Week Two devo, we talked about a way to prepare your soil for deep growth of the roots)  He gave us an acronym to show us a way to find out how our heart is:

• Pray

• Listen

• Obey

• Worship

Take some time to take this question to the Lord, then listen, obey what he says, and then praise Him for loving us enough to graciously and tenderly condition our hearts to receive all he has for us.
