Topic: Sexual Conversations 

This month we will be talking about Sexual Conversations: Training Your Kids to be Prepared and Safe in a Sexualized World. Our guest speaker is Christy Segura who is a 1st grade teacher at New Life Christian Academy. She has worked with kids in all different types of school settings and is passionate about equipping parents to navigate difficult yet important conversations about sexuality with their children. Key Topics she will be covering are: Safe Body Touch, Boundaries to Set, Changing Body Parts and Having “The Talk.”

This month, we're discussing Technology Boundaries to create a safe home environment for your children.  We will be watching and discussing clips from Screen Sanity, a non-profit that equips parents to be mentors and guides so kids grow up happy and healthy in an increasingly digital world. You will come away with immediate tips and tools to maximize technology's benefits while minimizing its harmful side effects.
