OUR VISION

GO School of Ministry desires to raise up disciples that will wholeheartedly love God, love others both authentically and sacrificially, and live a lifestyle of Spirit empowered obedience.

GO School of Ministry is for college aged students 18-24 that desire to grow in their relationship with Jesus, grow in their knowledge of the Word, and gain practical ministry skills to be effective disciples in this generation.

WHO WE ARE

GO School of Ministry is a full time 10-month program that lays the foundation for young adults to cultivate a life in the Word and presence of God. GSM will help students discover what the Bible says and how to study it, learn how to be leaders, and grow as disciples of Christ.

WHO?

GSM is a full-time ministry training school for young adults ages 18-24.

WHEN?

GSM is in session from
September 2023 - July 2024

WHERE?

GSM is located at LifeMission Church’s Olathe, KS campus.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Students will live in community, receive teaching from LifeMission's own staff as well as guest teachers, serve alongside LifeMission Church’s ministries, and go on a mission’s trip.

MONTHLY

Students will partner with local ministries to serve and reach the lost in Kansas City.

ANNUALLY

All students will go on a global mission trip to bring the gospel to the unreached.

GO School of Ministry students will join a Ministry Focus to serve throughout the school year; GSM’s Ministry Focuses are Global Missions, Worship & Prayer, and Local Church Leadership. These focuses provide students the opportunity to develop skills and will equip them to serve in the nations, prayer rooms, and the local church. Between classes, ministry focuses, church, outreach, and prayer students can expect to spend 35-40 hours a week participating in GSM.

GO SCHOOL OF MINISTRY FAQs

  • GSM begins mid September 2023 and ends at the end of July 2024. There will be two breaks given during the school year for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

  • GSM costs $10,000

  • Tuition includes housing, utilities, and all program costs. Tuition does not cover food, personal expenses, or the cost of the required mission trip (don’t worry, we’ll help teach you how to raise funds for the trip!)

  • ○ We understand that not all students will be able to pay the full cost of their tuition upfront so we have a monthly payment plan available.

    ○ All students will be required to make a $500 deposit within one month of their acceptance to GSM in order to secure their spot in the school. The first $950 payment will be due September 1st, 2023.

  • GSM is located at LifeMission Church in Olathe, KS

  • There will be time in the schedule for students to do part time jobs such as food delivery, babysitting, house cleaning, etc. however, students will not be able to work a consistent hourly job. We ask that during this season students prioritize their GSM schedule.

  • GSM is a full time program and students will have responsibilities from 8:30am - 4:30pm Monday through Thursday. Students will also participate in monthly outreaches, GO Prayer meetings, as well as attend/serve at church on Sunday.

  • Yes, one of the values we have at Go School of Ministry is community living and requires that all students live in GSM housing.

  • Students must be 18 - 24 years old and have a high school diploma or GED.
