Devo for 6/28/2026 - Go Prayer Sunday- 10 Year Anniversary

This past Sunday was a weekend of praise and worship, thanking God for 10 years of Go Prayer!   Pastor Zac and Nicole started Go Prayer 10 years ago after a calling from the Lord to bring a house of prayer to Olathe.

We were created to live a life of praising and worshipping our amazing Father in Heaven.  When we praise God, it brings us joy and a divine power that allows us to overcome and walk in the giftings He has given us.

Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name. Psalm 100:4

As sin entered this world, we lost our connection with God, and selfishness, fear of lack, and self-pity replaced our worship of Him.  Instead, we started worshipping fleshly things and making idols out of things, ideas, and culture. 

As we obediently receive salvation and eternal life through the blood Jesus shed on the cross, we are re-connected with God through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit! (Romans 8:11)  With this, our daily life should be filled with our gratitude to God through praise and worship!

As we walk in this, our willingness to praise Him will cultivate a deep relationship with Him, which will lead to constant Love, joy, and Peace!

Praise the Lord! Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens! Praise him for his mighty deeds; praise him according to his excellent greatness! Praise him with trumpet sound; praise him with lute and harp! Praise him with tambourine and dance; praise him with strings and pipe! Praise him with sounding cymbals; praise him with loud clashing cymbals! ... Psalm 150:1-6
